Jeff Nish Our New Board Chair

“I am quite honored to be associated with the Calgary Region Community Board and the Ministry of Seniors and Community Supports. I look forward to working with the other Board members and the Administration in achieving the Board’s vision for adults with developmental disabilities within the Calgary region,” said Mr. Nish, who will join the Board for a three-year term.

"I would also like to welcome Jean Fraser who comes to us with extensive experience as a Board member for the Calgary Health Region and as a participant on their Infrastructure Committee. Ms. Fraser looks forward to applying her wide range of work and volunteer experience to further improve services to adults with developmental disabilities.

"I am pleased that there is a continuity of current Board members as Kathleen Halpin Clarke, Jerry Muelaner and Richard Cochrane have been re-appointed and will be returning to serve as Board members.

"Together our Board will build on what has been achieved and look forward to working together with Alex and the community. The knowledge and expertise of returning Board members will be invaluable as our new Board, the administration, individuals, families, service providers and community as we address the opportunities and challenges facing our region today and in the future."
