The Salvation Army needs volunteers! November 19th - December 24th
The Salvation Army’s annual Kettle Campaign raises funds to brighten the holiday season for those in need.
The Perks:
- In just three hours you can raise enough donations to make the holidays an enjoyable experience for up to 3 families.
- 2-3 hour shifts are available 6 days a week at locations throughout Calgary, Airdrie, Okotoks, and Cochrane.
- Volunteer with family or friends.
- The Kettle campaign is an excellent opportunity for students to gain volunteer hours, or valuable references.

Balancing Acts8 Kick-Off Party and Silent Auction:

Bold. Brash. Beautiful: Balancing Acts8 Commissioning Series, with the support of a number of community partners, is proud to present the artwork of over 60 emerging and professional artists with disabilities.
Work will be on display throughout Disability Arts Awareness Week (Dec. 1-6) in five different galleries across Calgary:
- City Hall
- Art Gallery of Calgary
- Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts
- Art Central
- Studio C
